APPLEGROVE
Applegrove is an eclectic witchcraft and wiccan-based working group and teaching circle in Sydney, Australia. We formed out of our parent grove around 1996 and started our teaching circle, Circle Of The Hearth in 1998-99. Applegrove ran public and semi-public pagan gatherings from 1996-2001 as well as organising the Australian Wiccan Conference 2006 with Pagan Awareness Network. Currently we are focusing more on the working group and teaching circle rather than presenting events, however some of us still do present workshops at pagan gatherings such as the AWC and several members are actively involved with helping at the PAN Full Moons.

HEXENBRUT GLEN INNES (WITCHES OF GLEN INNES)
Hexenbrut is a dance / practical group performing traditional witches dances based on the legends of the Harz Mountains in Sachsen Anhalt Germany and regions of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire. Most members are solitary practitioners who come together for Walpurgisnacht / May Eve; Nyárközép éjszakájának / Solstice and Seelenauslauten / Halloween. The group – a sub-committee of the local German/Austrian Club – includes the Hexenbrut (Witches Brood) and the Wolfskopf Hexenmänner / Wolfshead Witchmen, a Black Morris dancing group. Members dress as stereotypical witches for their dances and rituals based on the ancient Saxon pagan custom of dressing in rags, carrying brooms, pitchforks and scythes with blackened faces to scare off the soldiers of Charlemagne. The group meets every Thursday at 7pm and has 20 members from Glen Innes, 12 from Inverell and 5 from Red Range.
