National Associations & Groups

The Pagan Awareness Network Incorporated (PAN Inc) is a not-for-profit educational association with members Australia-wide. It is run by a management committee whose members are drawn from a broad cross-section of the Pagan community. The Association is incorporated in the state of New South Wales, with sub-committees in other states of Australia. It has no formal ties with any religious body, but works in a proactive fashion, both within the Pagan community & as a point of contact for the public, including government & media organisations. PAN lends support to other groups hosting events and gatherings, and maintains a strong presence within the Pagan community and the community at large. More links to websites of Pagan groups and events around Australia can be found on the PAN Inc website.

The Australian Reclaiming Community is a collective dream woven from our desire to create bonds with Reclaiming-identified Witches across this ancient land. Reclaiming is a Witchcraft Tradition that combines earth-based spirituality with politics and is known in Australia mainly through the work of author and activist, Starhawk. The Australian Reclaiming Community are committed to community building through activities such as public rituals, events, workshops and by hosting WitchCamps around Australia.
